Product Description
The synthetic fiber made from polypropylene (PP, a semi-crystalline thermoplastic) is Polypropylene fiber (Polypropylene Fiber). It has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, and chemical corrosion resistance. It is widely used in textile, construction, medical, industrial and other fields.
Physical Properties
1.Lightweight: density is only 0.91 g/cm³ (lighter than water)
2.Hydrophobic and quick-drying: water absorption rate is less than 0.1%
3.High tensile strength: strength can reach 3~5 cN/dtex
Chemical Properties
1.Acid and alkali resistant, organic solvent resistant (such as alcohol)
2.Susceptible to strong oxidants (such as concentrated sulfuric acid, chlorine), long-term contact requires special treatment
